Search your council's applications
Use a council page to see recent applications and narrow them down.
Every council has its own page listing its planning applications. It saves you hunting through the council's own website, and the same layout works for every council we cover.
How to use it
- Go to Councils and choose your council, or search for it.
- The list starts with the last 90 days. Use the tabs to switch between All, Pending, Approved, Refused and Withdrawn.
- Choose Newest first or Oldest first to change the order.
- Open Filters to change the date range (last 90 days, last 12 months, all time, or a single year) or to pick statuses.
- Select any application to open its page.
You know it worked when the list changes to show only the applications you asked for. If nothing fits, we say so and offer to search all time or clear the filters.
Without an account you see the first 5 results. Create a free account to see them all.
More filters on Research
The Research plan adds filters for application type (such as new homes, extensions and alterations, or trees and landscaping), number of homes (an estimate), application route (such as full, householder, outline, prior approval, listed building consent or discharge of conditions) and keywords, with an option to hide applications that mention certain words. Research can also export the results to a CSV file and save your filters as an alert. See Compare plans.
See it on a map
The map can show pins or site outlines. See Pins and site outlines on the map.
Common questions
I can't find an application I know exists. Widen the date range first. Then try its reference or address in the search box. See Find an application by address or reference.
The status is not what I expected. See Statuses and decisions.
