Find an application by address or reference

Jump straight to one application with the search box on a council page.

If you already have a reference number, or you know the address, the search box at the top of a council page is the quickest route.

How to use it

  1. Open your council's page from Councils.
  2. In the box, type a postcode, an address or the application's reference.
  3. A postcode shows applications nearby. An address or reference shows a short list of the closest results.
  4. A single exact reference opens the application directly.

Common questions

Nothing came back. Check the reference for typos, try just the street name, or search the postcode instead.

It shows an application from another council. References are only unique within one council, so make sure you are on the right council's page.

A recent application is missing. Changes usually appear within a day of the council publishing them. If it is older than that, tell us at support@planningsignal.co.uk with the council and reference.
