T2 - declining horse chestnut, tree is approximately 20-24 meters in height, woodpecker hole 10-12 meters from ground level, additional 10 meters above hole in extremely bad decline, at base, signs of decay present at base, recommended to fell ASAP
The 3 dead trees are amongst others and also bushes in the first quarter of the boundary with the allotment gardens, starting from the Church Road (southern end) of the boundary. One is understood to be a cherry tree. The two others cannot be identified. We need to cut them down carefully to a safe height, including to remove any high level branches, before the dead trees become a safety concern. This will probably mean effectively cutting the trees down to almost ground level (withing about 300mm or so).
