Carry out recommendations as detailed in Duty of Care report carried out by Heritage Tree Services in April 2022. T399 - Hawthorn (W1 on TPO) - remove adventitious growth encroaching on footpath to maintain statutory clearance. T398 - Oak - (W1 on TPO) - sever ivy to maintain clear stem for future VTA's. T397 - Douglas Fir (W1 on TPO) - monitor growth at point of previous topping. T396 - Douglas Fir - (W1 on TPO) - no work. T395 - Larch - (W1 on TPO) - no works required at present. T394 - Oak - (W1 on TPO) - remove identified limb to source to reduce likelihood of further damage to neighbouring tree. Adjacent new planting of oak. Remove stakes and tie. T393 - Holly - (W1 on TPO) - raise low branches over the footpaths to statutory height of elder and maintain holly clearance over gated entrance. T392 - Ash - (W1 on TPO) - monitor the condition of the tree for signs of ADB. It is recommended that this should be carried out yearly so the tree can be removed if the disease is present, which will reduce the likelihood of failure and subsequent higher removal costs if observed in later stages. Maintain statutory clearance. Remove epicormic growth from base. T391 - Scots Pine (W1 on TPO) - maintain clearance of ivy from stem. T390 - Douglas Fir (W1 on TPO) - remove grass clippings from basal area as build up will be detrimental to the trees physiological process. T389 - Beech (W1 on TPO) - monitor identified fusion and contact points for any signs of instability or new wounding. Monitor delamination on western buttress aspect. Informal inspection autumn 2022 during fungal fruiting season for observation. T388 - Douglas Fir (W1 on TPO) - oak - maintain clearance of low branches over the footpath to statutory clearance. T387 - Oak - (W1 on TPO) - maintain statutory clearance over footpath. T386 - Douglas Fir - (W1 on TPO) - no works necessary at present. Remove tagged tree 904 to ground level to aid future development of neighbouring tree. T385 - Scots Pine (W1 on TPO) - no works necessary at present. T384 - Douglas Fir (W1 on TPO) - maintain clearance over the footpath to statutory clearance. Remove small suppressed Oak trees due to no long term future potential in current location. This is recommended at this stage as the cost of removal at a later stage will increase. G1 - Mix (G5 on TPO) - no works necessary at present. T383 - Oak - (G5 on TPO) - maintain statutory clearance over footpath. Remove moderate and major deadwood within strike distance of path. T382 - Oak - (W1 on TPO) - monitor area of bark delimitation. Current area coverage approx 15% of face towards recreation ground. Raise low branches over the public footpath to maintain statutory clearance. G2 - Mix - (W1 on TPO) - Maintain statutory clearance over the footpath. X2 Scots pine within group that have phototropic growth formation due to location. Consider removal or aid with future oak development as these trees have no long-term future potential in current location. G3 - Mix - (W1 on TPO) - maintain statutory clearance over footpath. T380 - Douglas Fir - (W1 on TPO) - reduce x2 branches that extend beyond crown profile to reduce likelihood of failure from excessive wind loading. G4 - Oak - (G3 on TPO) - sever ivy to maintain clearance for future visual inspections. T379 - Oak - (T5 on TPO) - maintain current clearance over footpath. T378 - Cherry (no TPO) - maintain clearance over communal area paths of all trees. Formative prune x1 Sorbus sp and remove planting stake. G5 - Oak (G5 on TPO) - maintain current clearance of low branches over lawned area. Mulch around 905 with 100mm circle of approx 1.5m. Re-evaluation of trees condition spring 2023. G6 - Mix (not TPO) - maintain clearance next to footpath.
