Connect Slack

Post updates to a Slack channel.

  1. In Slack, open Apps, search for Incoming Webhooks and add it to your workspace.
  2. Choose Add to Slack (or Add New Webhook) and pick the channel to post to.
  3. Copy the Webhook URL. It starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/.
  4. In Planning Signal, open Integrations, choose Add connection, select the Slack tab and paste the URL.
  5. Give it a name if you like, tick the events you want and connect.
  6. Select Send test. A message should appear in your channel.

If the test does not arrive

  • Check that you copied the whole URL and that Slack still shows the webhook as active.
  • Check the Deliveries panel for the error message shown against the attempt.
  • If you removed the Slack app or channel, create a new webhook and add a new connection.
