Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, commonly referred to as Solihull Council, serves as the local authority for the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull in the West Midlands, England. As a metropolitan borough council, it oversees the majority of local government services in the area and has been a member of the West Midlands Combined Authority since 2016, enhancing regional collaboration and planning initiatives. The council was established in 1 April 1974. The council is currently led by Karen Grinsell (Conservative), who has held the position since 13 May 2025.
