Blackpool Council serves as the local authority for the Borough of Blackpool in Lancashire, England. Established as a unitary authority in 1998, it operates independently from Lancashire County Council, combining the roles of both district and county council. Since 2025, Blackpool Council has also been a member of the Lancashire Combined County Authority, playing a key role in regional governance and planning matters.
