Proposed repairs to the outfall at Grade II Listed Aqueduct 11 on the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal: The apron which forms the outlet to aqueduct 11, Cwm Shenkin Brook has become undercut due to continuous river action. The undercut apron has deteriorated in recent years due to extreme weather events and consequently works are now required to stabilise the apron and safeguard the aqueduct. Works are proposed as follows: Re-building part of the outfall apron, including replacement of rotten timber beams, Repairs and improvements to existing access steps, Replacement of approximately 7 metres of fencing and an access gate. We are aware that the Aqueduct is Grade-II Listed, and we will be consulting separately with the conservation officer to understand whether or not an application for Listed Building Consent will be required for the works.

Change of use of a redundant barn to kennels, including extension to the rear of the barn, and reconstruction of the existing adjoining garage. The proposed rear extension will accommodate boarding rooms, and existing barn will be the recreational/exercise area.
