Prior Approval for Demolition. The building, E01A, is located on E-Site, adjacent to an active runway to the west. The structure comprises a reinforced concrete frame with a flat roof including a plant room. The building is linked to an adjacent two-storey office building to the east, E01B, and hangar E1 to the south. The links to E01B include ground floor and first floor. The link to E01B will remain and appropriate fire escape and mitigation measurements will be required to comply with current fire regulations. The link to the hangar E1 will also be removed. At ground floor, E01A includes a ground bearing slab. The fist floor and roof comprise beam and block flooring. Externally, the building appears to be finished with precast concrete cladding. As mentioned above. E01A is linked to E01B and a hangar to the south. Access to E01B is no longer possible. Both the hangar and E01B are operational buildings, and these will remain operational during the duration of the demolition works.

Prior Notification for proposed demolition of 5 modular units. All buildings are portacabins assumed to be formed from steel framing with metal cladding and a timber flat roof and floor. The 3 modular units at location E are supported on solid concrete plinths. The steel plates of the modular unit at location W sit directly onto tarmac. The modular unit at location A sits directly onto what appears to be paving slabs. The buildings are located at different locations throughout the boundaries of RNAS Culdrose. The location of these structures is shown in the drawings provided. The portacabins are fitted with steel plates at column location, transferring the loadings onto solid concrete piers. Where the structures bear onto different stratum, this has been noted in the drawings and documents provided.
