G01 - 2x cypress trees on raised bank above existing driveway entrance on edge of main road (babbacombe road). Fell 2 stems on end of row to facilitate the potential to widen the driveway and make it useable. Trees location currently prevents this from being possible. Client will consider further maintenance to the hedge (height maintenance) once the initial works have been completed. T01 - mature bay stems growing on bank over main road (babbacombe road). Trees are excessively tall considering the species and catch a lot of wind due to coverage of foliage. Road is within falling distance should these stems fail. Reduce by 50% in height. T02 - 3x low stems of bay overhanging road, with obvious impact points from busses and Lorries. Cut back beyond wall to prevent impact with vehicles. T03 - triple stem conifer in front courtyard to be felled to allow south west water access to their manhole in order to clear blockage. Regular draining of the overflow is currently needed to prevent the spillage from the drain overflowing onto babbacombe road. I will be attempting to contact Torbay council to try and get this tree fast tracked as the client wants to avoid a repeat visit to clear the drain before it can be fixed properly. An email from SWW has been provided in document section of application proving their request to clear access to the manhole chamber. SWW have mapping available to provide to you to prove the location of this pre existing manhole, but hasn't been provided to us as applicants.
