We are seeking permission to fell an old Cherry Tree (T1 in sketch) which has been deteriorating for several years. The tree failed to blossom this spring and has failed to come into leaf. It has a large crack in the trunk which is peppered with what appears to be woodworm holes. Additionally, one of the major branches is badly cracked and could fall in strong winds.
