Cypress (T1) Fell: Excessive shading and size incompatible with its position adjacent to this building, and the neighbouring property. In the past it has caused drains at the neighbouring property (No 16) to become blocked by its roots and caused damage to the adjacent tarmac paving. It's proximity to a natural stone boundary wall is such that further growth will inevitably cause the wall to fall. Ash (T2) Fell: Proximity to the building creates excessive shading and significantly reduces light to adjacent windows once in full leaf. Replace both trees centrally and/or on the eastern & northern boundaries of the site with smaller native species such as Hawthorn and Hazel more compatible in size to the urban environment and conservation area.
