26/02161/TREENotification for Works to Trees in CAPending Decision

Proposal

T1 - willow - Fell or pollard. One of two principal stem has recently failed at the base, falling across the stream, boundary wall, public footpath and into the neighbouring garden. Reduce/re-pollard the remaining standing stem approximately 3-5 metres below the previous pollard points to substantially reduce weight and leverage upon the compromised base whilst retaining the tree where reasonably practicable. Should closer inspection during the works reveal insufficient sound residual wood for safe retention, permission is also sought to fell the remaining stem to near ground level. G2 - willows - Group of approximately 4 willows. Re-pollard group of willows to the established previous pollar points, removing up to approximately 10 metres of re-growth, depending on individual stem length.
