Horse Chestnut tree as marked on the attached plan. When we had a tree surgeon and arboriculturalist look at another tree on our property we also asked about this one and both said that it had "canker". Since we have lived here since February two large limbs have fallen down as you will see from the pictures (one has been sawn post it falling as it was sticking out dangerously). No leaves were produced last year on half of the tree. Given its dying we would like to completely remove it noting the presence of small children and the desire to avoid any accidents should more of the tree fall of its own accord. We will look to replant another tree in due course.
