Proposal
Following the catastrophic failure of one of the main stems on the Horse Chestnut, my recommendations would be to restructure the tree, reducing down to approximately 8m to create a framework for future regeneration and regrowth to be managed on a cyclical basis every 3-5 years. The tree is in decline and in my view, is likely to shed another significant limb to rebalance the weight of the crown.
