Proposal

Replacement boundary fence - NON MATERIAL AMENDMENT to 20/04233/FU - The original planning proposal was for a replacement boundary fence comprised of 4 & 5 ft high wooden panels and concrete posts. As part of the fence is on a hill, the bottom corner of each of these panels would end up being submerged in the soil. After discussion with the fencing company, we have been advised to place 12" concrete gravel boards at the base of each fence panel to protect the wood from rotting prematurely as a result of contact with the soil. The change would therefore be to include a 12" concrete gravel board at the base of each fence panel. The height of the fence panels would be reduced (to 3 or 4 ft) to accommodate the height of the gravel board such that the resulting fence remains at the approved height (5ft, dropping to 4ft near the house).
