Planning Decision
Why it was refused
- The conversion of the existing four-bedroom dwelling into 2 x 2 bed self contained units would result in the loss of a residential unit that is suitable and appropriately sized for a family. The proposed development also fails to provide a satisfactory standard of residential accommodation for future occupiers. For these reasons, the proposal would result in the loss of a family-sized dwelling and would fail to provide acceptable living conditions for future occupants. The development is therefore contrary to Policies DMH 1, DMH 2, DMH 4 and DMHB 16 of the Hillingdon Local Plan Part 2 (2020), Policies D6 and H10 of the London Plan (2021), and the NPPF (2024).
