I write at the instruction of Surrey County Councils Highways dept who I approached regarding making a new safer entrance for the Old Ford Pub in Lynchford Road which means crossing an existing path way/road boundary. We approached sec directly as we felt it was too bigger an issue to be covered by the usual crossover rules and would need Highways involvement. sec have advised me that the land in question and marked Blue on the plan is currently unregistered and they wanted written proof from GBC that you don't own the land before they will entertain an application because if you do own the land the application has to go through yourselves first with them as a consultee. I respectfully ask that you view the attached Map search Plan and confirm or deny you have an interest in this piece of land so we have clear direction on which way to proceed.
