T1 - Scots Pine - fell due to deteriorating condition with the tree losing several large branches over the last 3 years or so. Most recently in early October a branch had failed and rested on the branch below causing that to partially snap. Both branches were removed as they were above the front entrance to the property. Whilst removing them it was noted that they were unusually dry and light for Pine. It has not been possible to identify the specific cause but the tree does seem to be showing signs of stress and a decline in health.
