Following by previous application (permission granted in Oct 2017 - S/3463/17/TC) but work not undertaken in the 2 year period) I again apply for permission to remove 4 trees which all pose a potential danger to property and passers by: T1 is a very tall, leaning fir tree which if it fell eastwards would damage next door's Grade II listed building; T2 is a medium sized ash tree which as it grows is causing damage to a shed and a wall on the southern boundary and is also interfering with overhead cables; T3 is a very large conifer tree which is overhanging the High Street road, the public footpath on the western border of the property and the neighbouring churchyard T4 is a large sycamore tree which is growing precariously on a steep bank on the north side of the house. If it fell southwards, it would cause extensive damage to the house. All 4 are in a conservation area, but were planted by the current owner in the 1960s and 1970s. He intends to plant new trees in other locations in the large garden. The owner loves trees and only seeks to remove them to ensure the safely of nearby persons and property, including his own.
