The site
The outline is the boundary the promoter published. It can include cable, pipeline or road routes as well as the main site. 771 hectares inside the published boundary.
What is proposed
An onshore wind farm with approximately 16 turbines, each up to 220m in height (to blade tip). The project will also include internal access tracks, an onsite substation, and highways works to the existing road network to facilitate access. The grid connection point is not yet confirmed, but potentially could be the West Burton Substation, approximately 13 km to the southeast of the main Wind Farm Site. The generation capacity will be in excess of 100MW.
