Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, commonly referred to as Dudley Council, serves as the local authority for the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the West Midlands, England. Established as a borough in the thirteenth century and reformed multiple times, the council has operated as a metropolitan borough council since 1974, delivering a wide range of local government services. Additionally, Dudley Council has been part of the West Midlands Combined Authority since 2016, enhancing regional collaboration and planning efforts. The council is currently led by Patrick Harley (Conservative), who has held the position since 16 May 2019. Balvinder Heran serves as Chief Executive since 1 October 2024.
