NICEIC assesses electrical contractors against the UK wiring regulations (BS 7671), including inspections of their work. Registered firms can self-certify notifiable electrical work under the Building Regulations in England and Wales, so you do not need to apply to building control separately. You should receive a certificate when the work is finished.

The Tile Association is the UK trade body for the wall and floor tiling industry, covering tiling contractors, independent fixers, retailers and manufacturers. Members agree to its code of practice and have access to its technical guidance on standards for tiling work.
