An ash tree identified on our tree survey today at The Carrington Arms, Folville St, Melton Mowbray LE14 2TE (see location plan attached) has revealed a crack at the base of a vertical limb, overhanging the outbuildings and pub, that is propagating and is a sign of incipient failure (see photographs attached). As a matter of urgency, due to the immediate risk of serious harm, we intend remove the defective limb and to prune selective overhanging branches to eliminate that risk of serious harm.
