T21 Evergreen Oak - The tree is situated on top of a raised bed and root pressure is beginning to cause concerns with the retaining wall beside the entrance to the car park. It has grown one sided due to competition from the adjacent Lime tree and therefore the crown is greater over the highway, our recommendation is to reduce the crown by approx 2mtrs over the highway and car park entrance in order to address the imbalance and reduce the height by the same amount, crown lift to 5.2mtrs above the highway to provide adequate clearance for high sided vehiclesLime tree adjacent to the Evergreen Oak - this tree has some deadwood within the crown, remove the deadwood and cut back any branches which encroach towards the highway.T22, T23 & T24 Yew - T22 is the better one of the three, the other two have slightly sparse crowns, our recommendation is to remove any deadwood and monitor on a bi-annual basis.T27 Multi stemmed Lime growing at the top of the Waterloo Rd retaining wall - Root pressure is bearing on the wall and some stabilisation works may be planned to reinforce the wall, our recommendation is crown lift to 4mtrs and reduce height by 3mtrs, reduce lateral crown spread by up to 2mtrs, remove epicormic growth.T28 Lime growing at the top of the Waterloo Rd retaining wall - Root pressure is bearing on the wall and some stabilisation works may be planned to reinforce the wall, our recommendation is crown lift to 4mtrs and reduce height by 3mtrs, reduce lateral crown spread by up to 2mtrs and remove epicormic growth.T29 Beech growing at the top of the Waterloo Rd retaining wall - Root pressure is bearing on the wall and some stabilisation works may be planned to reinforce the wall, reduce the crown by approx 1.5 mtrs overall and thin crown by 10%, remove any deadwood.Generally, any self set trees growing along the top of the retaining wall will be removed whilst we are on site to prevent future issues.
