Sample of cedar cladding. The sketches show that the existing raised bed, seen on the plan submitted originally, will be extended by approximately 500mm by the removal of 1 bin from the bin store. Another mature holly tree will be added to the bed so the screening will extend beyond the length of the south elevation of the proposed building, as seen from Arno Road. A further raised bed will be created at the end of the wall (drive entrance) and a mature tree planted. This will improve the screening as seen when travelling west up Arno Road and viewing the proposed development to the right. A trellis and evergreen climbing plants will be used between the two raised beds in order to increase the screening provided by the existing sandstone wall. Cedar cladding sample to be handed in at South Annex Wallasey Town Hall.
