PL/2026/06528Notification of proposed works to trees in a conservation areaPending Decision

Proposal

T1 Hazel - Remove north easterly stem at point of bifurcation with upright main stem. This is due to a poor included bark section at point of separation (see pic 2) and excessive shading to a small but well maintained garden (see pic 1). Then reduce height of the remaining central stem up by 1.5-2m depending on its appearance after the loss of the other stem but also to raise the canopy up to 2m and thin out canopy to allow more light/dappled light into garden. Also to reduce/remove large over-extended limbs on the north westerly elevation that are very close to the student accommodation building of Salisbury College that is adjacent to the property (see pic 3).
