390 Atherton Road Hindley Green Wigan WN2 4QD
Proposal
2 sycamore trees The first Sycamore tree has fungal fruiting bodies at the base of the stem, alongside an included union at the base These features raise concerns regarding the potential for internal decay and the structural integrity of the lower stem. Tree 2 The second sycamore has a substantial cavity approximately 600mm above ground level, with a considerable amount of internal decay visible within the affected area. i have concerns regarding the remaining sound wood and the trees structural integrity. Having considered the defects observed in both trees i believe further investigation and appropriate remedial action are warranted and the removal may be the most appropriate long term management option subject to my findings
