Notification under Section 211 for works to trees in a conservation area comprising T2 Goat willow - 30% 3 m crown reduction over footpath for pedestrian access. T3 - Wych elm - full crown reduction by 30% or 3-4m to retain the tree within its location without outgrowing the space. T4 - Wych Elm - full reduction by 30%/4 m to retain tree within its location without outgrowing its space. T5 - Wych Elm - reduce northern crown spread over footpath back in line with the adjacent fence for pedestrian access. T6 - Common Beech - reduce this dead tree to a standing monolith of approximately 3m in height, concerns the standing stem is too tall for the decaying roots to sustain. There are two busy public areas within falling distance. T7 - Purple Beech - reduce northern and eastern crown spread by approximately 30%/4 m to reduce shade and damp on the adjacent property. T8 - Wych Elm - Re-pollard to historic pollard points to reduce shade and damp on the adjacent property. G1 - Sycamore - Reduce crown back to fence line to reduce shade and damp on the adjacent property. G2 - Common Ash and Wych Elm - Coppice all trees within the group due to their contribution to footpath deterioration at a height of 1.5m and the potential for continued structural damage to the walkway exacerbated by wind loading
