Amendments to planning permission dated 28th April 2023 (RN 23/02830/FULL) for the Erection of mansard roof at no.8 to extend existing single family dwelling, and re-demising of rear sunroom and courtyard from no.8 to no.7 to be used association with the existing single family dwelling at no.7. Installation of new windows and door on the side elevation and new windows and doors on front. NAMLEY, The internal layouts of have been reconfigured; On the South Elevation, the windows, doors and shutters at ground floor level have been amended. The previously consented scheme had timber windows, doors and shutters that required a large aperture to be formed down to ground level. The proposed scheme now shows timber sash windows with the aperture only around 1000mm from street level; On the West Elevation, the arrangement of windows and door at ground level have been amended. The previously consented scheme had a significantly larger amount of glazing and timber panelling, whereas the proposed scheme lowers the existing window opening and the extent of timber panelling has been reduced; On the West Elevation, the arrangement of windows at first floor have been amended. The previously consented scheme increased the sizes of existing openings to install larger windows, whereas the proposed scheme has new windows installed in the existing openings; Generally, the arrangement of the timber sash windows has been amended from 6 over 6 sash to 3 over 3 sash; The rooflight positions have been amended to suit the reconfigured second floor layout and upstands have been added so the roof lights can be installed following the manufacturer's recommendations; On the South Elevation at ground floor level, the previously consented window opening has been removed; On the East Courtyard Elevation the surface mounted pipe has been removed; In summary, the amendments to the scheme propose less demolition and less change to the existing condition than the consented 23/02830/FULL application.
