TPO 311 (2001) tree preservation order - T1 Oak. Prune to appropriate pruning points to achieve 2 metres clearance from structures. Crown raise over footpath to 3 metres above ground level, and 5.5 metres above ground level over highway. Reduce lower crown lateral spread to east and west by up to 2 metres. Reduce lower crown lateral spread to south by up to 2.5 metres. Reduce upper crown by up to 1.5 metres all round. Remove apically dominant vertical water shoot to south of crown (approximate diameter of 100mm at union). Remove apically dominant ascending water shoot to south-west of crown (approximate diameter of 200mm at union). Pruning wounds exceeding 100mm to be left as stubs, 5 times diameter of the wound, beyond the pruning point.
