We would like to complete some work on one of the sycamore trees under the TPO G2. The specific tree is a large sycamore tree which is at the bottom of the garden bordering 48 and 50 Beechwood Drive, Ormskirk. The tree is just behind the bottom left hand corner of the garden of 48 Beechwood Drive, Ormskirk (viewed as if the house is behind you and you are looking down the garden away from the house). We would like permission to complete a crown lift on this tree to enable more light to penetrate the garden and allow for a clearance above a garden shed to prevent potential damage - several of the branches are low hanging over garden sheds and fences and they dominate the bottom area of the garden. We would like permission to remove the branches up to 5m, this will involve removing just 6 branches of the tree, some of which are small. The cuts used will aim to not damage the branch collars on each respective branch, as such allowing the tree to heal over and remain healthy.
