Proposal

Full refurbishment of existing grade II listed powerhouse (LB060) to create new distillery linked by a proposed covered walkway to new visitor centre building and linked to proposed bonded barrel store within part of existing grade II listed rolling mill building (LB326) including associated works to rolling mill building (Amendment to Listed Building Consent 2018/0837/LBC granted 25th September 2018) to amend the walkway as follows: narrowing of consented walkway to enable retention of large brick tunnel that appears to run underneath the gable end of the Rolling Mill, works to above discovered tunnel to consolidate and display with glass panel and access hatch, minor changes to the landscape in order to save and expose a series of three pits and the walls around them, display of discovered bunker with vertical glass panel, display of feature/pit in front of bunker entrance with glass floor and display of feature/culvert in front of known silver stack tunnel with glass floor; and associated alterations to walkway design and alterations to rolling mill entrance in southern elevation.
