Proposal

Non-Material Amendment to planning permission ref. 22/AP/1068 dated 16/08/2023 for 'Redevelopment of site to provide a 24 storey building plus basement consisting of purpose-built student accommodation (Sui Generis), and commercial uses (Use Class E) at ground floor, and the development of the associated railway arches to provide commercial space (Use Class E), plant, refuse and cycle storage, and associated access and public realm works.' The amendment seeks: - Compliance with the updated Fire Safety Standards BS 9991:2024 - a full review of building regulations compliance has been undertaken as part of the design development which has led to some amendments. - Amendments to wording of conditions 1 (plans), 2 (description of development) , 12 (hard and soft landscaping), 17 (materials), condition 20 (wheelchair housing), condition 24 (electrical vehicle charging point), condition 48 (fire safety strategy compliance) - Consideration of the building operation - Since the planning approval, the scheme has been acquired by CKC Properties, on behalf of VC PBSA1 Limited, so a full review has been carried out and has led to some design amendments.
