Tree Details: T1 - Norway Spruce (Picea abies). A mature Norway spruce located at the rear of the premises on the most northern side of the garden, as identified on the attached site photograph and aerial image (marked T1). Approximate height: 45 feet (13.7 metres). Proposed Works to T1. Permission is sought to carry out the following works: -Reduce overall height by up to 3.5 metres. -Reduce lateral spread by up to 1.5 metres throughout the canopy. -Prune and shape to promote a natural, balanced conical form. All pruning cuts will be made back to suitable growth points in accordance with good arboricultural practice and BS3998:2010 - Tree Work Recommendations. Reason for Works: The proposed works are required to: -Maintain the tree at a suitable size for its setting. -Improve structural balance and long-term stability. -Reduce excessive shading and wind loading. -Support the ongoing health and amenity value of the tree. The works are for routine arboricultural management purposes only and do not involve removal.
