Evergreen hedge consisting of 2 conifers and 1 yew tree. The evergreen hedge adjacent to the house at Gardiners View (1.2m) requires cutting down to alleviate problems with lack of light and loss of TV signal in recent months - see attached photos and documents. In addition work on the drains at Gardiners View as part of a building project in November 2018 identified that tree roots were impacting on the house foundations. We asked the owner if he could arrange to cut back the trees in May 2019. He conceded that they had grown very tall. He has cut back the middle tree, but there is still no TV signal. Last week I gave his wife the note from Oxford Aerials and asked if we could discuss the problem this weekend but he failed to come and talk to us. She told me that they could not touch the trees as they are protected. We want to be able to watch TV and protect our property, so we are seeking the advice of the tree officer. Remarks: Spec:
