The structure is partially infilled and is to be permanently infilled with foamed concrete in order to provide long term support to the structure. Imported fill is to be placed either side of the structure to bring ground levels up to match surrounding existing ground levels on completion of the concrete pour. The parapets are to have brickwork repairs in the form of cutting out and replacing spalled bricks, rebuilding of the ends of the northern parapet to repair fractures and re-mortaring of fractures throughout the south parapet faces. The fly tipped materials south of the structure, containing suspected asbestos, will be removed as part of the works. All worked surfaces will be topsoiled and grass seeded.
