1 Willow tree to be pruned to allow the installation of a new fibre optic communications cable by Openreach. The new fibre optic cable is to be attached to the existing overhead cable, the problem is that the willow tree has grown through the overhead cable so it cannot be accessed. About 7 or 8 feet will require taking off the top of the tree and the side will need cutting back around 4 feet. This will also allow the general public to walk down the pavement without being forced into the road. This work has already been discussed with Lee Johnson from Pendle Borough council who gave advice.
