To remove a 10m ash tree (G1). There are 60cm long cracks in the trunk bark at 3m height. No branches have grown on lower half of the tree because of earlier overcrowding and ivy covering the trunk. The tree looks to be very top heavy, and has a number of dead branches, although difficult to see from the ground it very much looks like ash dieback. The trunk at 2m fence level is growing right against the fence, and in winds rubs and moves the very strong fence. The tree (G1) which overhangs the neighbor's driveway, looked very unsafe in recent strong winds, and there are concerns that it will topple without warning on to parked cars.
