Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) Sycamore inspected following reports of a cavity at the base, following an inspection the tree has two major stems forming at 0.5m at the base, the stem that extends out over the main footpath and carriage way has a significant basal cavity and i have recommended on safety grounds that we remove of the affected stem and to leave a 1 meter stump stop side of the cavity.
