The development to which this application relates is to take place on land outside of HS2 Act Limits and comprises the construction, operation and removal of a temporary construction compound and its associated access road. It comprises a minor modification to the existing access from the A519, and access road between the A519 and the site of the compound itself to the west. The construction compound, will comprise a series of site cabins, welfare, storage areas and parking to support the forthcoming HS2 works at and around the Hanchurch Interchange. It will be hoarded for security. Some excavations are required to create a flat profile for the compound. It is proposed to re-position the excavated topsoil to form temporary storage bunds around the perimeter of the compound so the topsoil does not have to be taken off site and to provide visual screening.
