1) Removal of epicormic growth on yew (behind garage) to height of 8 feet. 2) Slight crown lift of yew overhanging orangery to prevent contact with the roof of the building (if record of previous reduction cannot be found ). 3) After a climbing inspection of the yew which was down for removal I found a large amount of minor deadwood /thinning foliage. On inspection of the cavity in the main stem no decay was found. I would, however still recommend this tree be removed as it has been in steady decline for at least 3 years, is in close proximity to the dwelling and, being the middle tree of three of the same spp, shielded by the most part from public view by the dwelling and other trees is of negligible amenity value.
