To remove an elder tree in the back garden of 143 Widdenham rd. the tree is self seeded elder which my elderly neighbour has never pruned. The elder tree has become excessively large for its position and is causing damage to the paved surface, with roots lifting the paving. The root system is also in close proximity to our shared old Victorian foul water drain, creating a risk of obstruction or damage. The tree is also leaning at an acute angle over the neighbours fence. For these reasons, removal is requested to prevent further deterioration and reduce the risk of future repair problems. Please attached photos and sketch plan of where the roots have raised the ground level.
