The Oak tree, T6 from herein, is a veteran Oak located at the bottom of the rear garden of Easter Moy, on a thin strip of IWC owned land between the bottom of the garden and a small river in Afton Marsh. T6 has recently suffered significant damage to its crown from strong winds. We seek consent to perform a crown reduction to protect T6 for the future. At present T6 is heavily weighted towards a nearby footpath through Afton Marsh and has several recently exposed over-extended limbs that we want to reduce to ensure that the health and condition of the tree is not compromised by future strong winds.
