Common Ash x 5 (W5 as per plan) - Fell 5 stems to near ground level. Reason: All 5 trees are showing symptoms of Chalara Ash Dieback with extensive deadwood throughout the crowns. Inonotus hispidus fungal fruiting bodies were present on the ground at the base of the trees although the location they came from was not visible. All 5 trees are posing an unacceptable risk to: garage, sheds, fences, and public bridleway which are all within falling distance of the trees No replanting proposed as the trees are within a woodland where natural regeneration will occur with better results.
