IVY: Severance and removal of ivy growing up into trees' crowns (quantity for removal to be agreed with ecologist). G002: REMOVE Leyland cypress trees. Roots to be grubbed out. Replacement planting of 3no trees - one each of ornamental hawthorn Crataegus x grignonensis, crab apple Malus 'Rudolph' and cherry Prunus 'Pandora' GROUP G005: REMOVE one tree in four from row at top of bank. Crown lifting shall be to 1.5m high from the base of the trees to be retained (to be agreed on site with Arboriculturist). Objective: to admit more light at base. Care to be taken to not 'overdo' this and so create an unnatural appearance which also exposes utilities behind. STUMPS - these cannot be grubbed out at this location, so a tree management rotation plan is being developed to manage the trees on site in the future. G006-A: multi-stemmed Ash - possibly showing symptoms of ash dieback - to be retained and monitored.
