The oak tree situated as detailed in the application is to have the following work carried out: The lowest three branches overhanging the garden are to be removed and the remaining upper crown reduced by up to 1.5 metres from the tips to strong growth points that are at least one third the diameter of the adjacent pruning point. The crown should also be crown thinned. Prior to the work being carried out the council tree officer will have to have a site meeting with the operative who will be carrying out the work to discuss the intended works.
