Proposal
Repair of, and alterations to, outbuildings adjacent to the farmhouse in order to remove unsympathetic 20th Century works, improve the remaining buildings appearance and ensure their long-term preservation and meaningful use. The works include: the removal of a corrugated-iron roofed lean-to and its replacement with a garage and new entrance for an existing cottage (all achieved behind a retained perimeter brick wall), together with the creation of a drive to the garage; the blocking-up of some superfluous 20th Century doorways; the addition of, and alteration to, some doorways and windows, and the insertion of partitions, in order to allow the existing buiildings to more readily function as stores, workshops, garaging, offices, gym and stabling; and the alteration to the end gable of an open-sided barn to improve its appearance (Listed Building Consent)
