Tree details Location: Rear garden Species: Sycamore Proximity: Close to residential property and overhanging neighbouring land ________________________________________ Description of proposed works Reduce the crown of one Sycamore tree by approximately 3/4 metres to manage size and spread. Works to be carried out evenly across the crown, maintaining the trees natural shape and character. Reducing the tree back to previous pruning points. ________________________________________ Reason for works The tree is located close to the rear of the property and has become oversized for its position. Branches are encroaching toward the dwelling and extending into neighbouring land. The proposed reduction is to reduce encroachment, manage future growth, and minimise the risk of damage to the property and neighbouring boundary, while maintaining the long-term health of the tree. ________________________________________ All works to be carried out by a qualified tree surgeon in accordance with BS3998.
