The oak is showing low vigour from the branch tips, with some dieback and minimal foliage extension growth. Crown reduce by 2-3m to suitable growth points to give clearance to the adjacent properties. 2-3m in from the current crown dimensions foliage development has better vitality which indicates that the tree is entrenching to some extent and trying to manage itself at a smaller size such that allowing branches to dieback naturally, is not acceptable due to the location of the tree over a busy footpath and close proximity to property and private amenity space.
